Hi, I'll ask my question in this topic rather than open a new one...
Q: Is it necessary to have "WLAN Search" option on active standby?
I installed plugin that removes Search&Share and I removed Calendar with hex code trick. I also have a plugin that removes WLAN but I don't know if that's a good idea because then I wouldn't know if WLAN search is disabled or enabled (for battery saving)...
Bonus Q: How can I check if "WLAN Search" is disabled (or enabled) without that option on Active Standby screen?
Please, I'm new to Symbian world and I need help
Thanks in advance.

Most of the software i have downloaded from "symbian-freak.com" have certificate issue.
The problem is certificate error or expired certificate.

"certificate expired" means the apps certificate has passed it's validation date.
this happen mostly to selfsign apps or something like that.
solution? set your phone date back to few months or years, depends.
"certificate error" means the applications are unsign.
few ways to solve this.
go to symbian sign, troublesome here. rules and regulation.
or
request your own cert.
check modding section for guide here or here
or.
hacked your phone.
since no info on your profile. i suggest you to apply for your cert
and try any of the latest hacking methods.
here or here and here
you may also use the cert you get just for signing the applications you intend to use.
hack your phone if you into modding.
all the best.
