I saw lot of post lately with warnings given to user like this

Code: Select all
http://www.symbian-freak.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=507722&highlight=#507722

What if the user didn't go through this thread again?

Will he be banned? why?

I'd suggest to give warning to user in PM's not Publicly like this!

:roll:

usually they get both. public and private.
and public work better than pming.
i know, i myself gives few reminder to members.
public always work the fastest.
why?
they know they are being watch.

why wait for 10 pms and still nothing?

my point of view. and this what i usually do.
(even to spambots :lol: )

Yes, vi always warn in pm also but a public warning has several objectives. Other members can see that the guy is warned, when they not sometimes we get a lot of pm from people asking us to give the guy a warning. There are also guys that never read their pm and then its good to give them public warning also, then we have given them all chances.
