i can shoot some photos for you if you want. wouldn't be a problem. will dropbox them for you, one photo is about 10MB in file size. it's funny, I have the 808 for 3 weeks now, only taken around 3 or 4 shots in 38MP mode

nice images MichaelSF
The super low light beer can shot shows small signs of noise banding, similar to what one gets on the N8. Thought they resolved this issue on the 808.
Do you concur MichaelSF?

A steady hand when it is -20 C
The biggest problem is the short days, only a few hours in the middle of the day and at that time I am normaly at my job. But now the lights is coming more and more, I think we have the sun up for about 4-5 hours now.

The nokia 808 pureview Camera is indeed one of the most powerful cameras in the world in my opinion, and the best camera is the camera you have with you all the time.
Just take a look at the ultimate resolving power the Nokia 808 can produce. It makes Canon's full frame sensor 5d mk iii seem weak, quivering at their knees. Nikons D800, seems to beat the Nokia 808, but only but only slightly. Obviously this is in good lighting scenes, and thats when the DSLRs (canon and nikon) come back to take the winning seat by a mile. But one has to wonder, such a tiny sensor, and optic, all fitting into a phone, no larger than a point and shoot digicam... simply amazing engineering.
Just look at this full resolution image below, click the link to release the full 38MP monster image.
