Raw almond nuts in a row.

A strong trunk and a delicate flower.

White and green.

Every comment would be appreciated.

Thanks for your comments. 5800 can do pretty well when the light is Okay. I'll update more photos if I find them interesting.

Thanks for your compliment! The one with almonds was taken in Macro mode, as you know it. I set my cam in auto modes, just fixed the sharpness to 'Hard', scene mode to 'Close up', and adjust 'Contrast' to some higher level (I can't remember, as I tried a lot of shooting modes).
Most credit goes to the light and shadow play. The important thing is the light in the room, and shadow cast from the object which can make good details. There was not much light in my office. And the brightest spot was where I place the nuts under. That helped increase the contrast a lot. Also, if you shoot some smooth object, it won't turn out like this.
BTW, I shot more than 10 times. But only 2 photos are worth to keep.

These 6 photos are not from 5800. But from my compact Olympus mju1040. Which I use as my main camera.
Just wanna share... and if I have a chance, will re-take these scenes with 5800 to compare the quality.

Hi!
More pix from my 5800, and hope you like them.
Nice vanda from my friend's house.

And this is the monument of a brave woman at my hometown. Her bravery was to protect the city from a foreign army about 100 years ago. A night shot photo!
