You might be aware of the risks the virus, among other threats pose to your computer. The virus's usually spread via blue tooth so if your not using it leave it switched off. Some viruses created for mobile devices ranging attack the same way as traditional computer viruses. In the case of cellphones, the user could receive a virus to download pictures, video clips, ring tones, themes for mobile phones or other programs.

i have a nokia 5230 s60v5 , i believe my phone has cellphone spyware software installed on it, i have netqin antivirus and mobile guard on my phone, the problem is the person who installed the software has my imei number, does anyone know what file types or common file names are associated with cellphone spyware, ? Are there any server.exe flies are should look at .. I have hard reset my phone . But whenever i insert my sim card after hard reset , My phone instantly shows that it is installing untrusted software. But it remains hidden? My prove is that my camera is always making a clicking sound and screen always brightens up for no reason and my voice calls be always muffled or breaks up.. Having a nokia would also like to know can someone have remote access to my device..

format memory card or remove:
mmc:\resource
mmc:\sys
mmc:\private
mmc:\system
then format phone
then install all softwares you want to have on your phone :)

***

lightup of screen can be caused by sensors, background app activity...
that message "installing untrusted software" is caused by apps found on memory card...

It's been said that the state of mobile phone viruses is currently analogous to the early days of computer viruses; in other words, few and far between. Thankfully, mobile phone viruses are still in their infancy. Be sure to follow these four steps to ensure you won't fall victim to this type of malware:

• Turn off Bluetooth Discovery Mode
• Don't insert a foreign memory card
• Be careful when connecting to computers
• Be careful with the apps you download

Generally speaking, no malware could survive after you have your phone fully formatted. However, there is an exception, if you flash your phone with a custom firmware, especially from unknown source, anything can happen and the security software on your phone is totally useless!
