‘Halloween‘ is the perfect horror, influenced ever so slightly by ‘Black Christmas’; John Carpenter took the notion of the slasher film and created a craze which still exists today. Without ‘Halloween’ numerous horror franchises would simply not exist. The story of the unstoppable Michael Myers who after murdering his sister as a child is put into a correctional facility for many years, only to escape and return ‘home’ to Haddonfield, is simplistic yet extremely effective. Carpenter who not only wrote and directed the film also wrote the films haunting and brilliant score. It may only be Carpenter, his Piano and a synthesizer, but like the films narrative it is its simplicity which makes it so effective. Casting Jamie Lee Curtis as the unfortunate babysitter of the narrative was an easy choice, Janet Leigh of ‘Psycho’ fame was her mother after all. All the pieces work and all the pieces matter. And the biggest piece of all? Michael Myers.

Movie is my favourite I like to see movie very much.I like several types of movie like bolliwood or Hollywood titanic is my one of the favourite movie I love to see that movie.That movie has wonderful music composition and songs.

my favorite movie is Fast & furious. The movie is sure not to disappoint fans looking for action and adventure, but gives more of a storyline than any of the previous Fast and the Furious ...

Dead End

Yea, I like horror movies too. ANd yes, I liked authorhouse Dead End too. However, the ending is confusing. I suppose you got it in authorhouse, since it is your favourite movie. Mind explaining it to me? As far as I've got it, the whole thing was some kind of dream this girl had for they all died just at the beggining. The road they are driving on represents the girl's brain for it took place in her head. I guess.... or maybe I am wrong??

I love "The Last House to the Left". Nice movie.
