Hi ol'symbian-freak fellas
I see a lot of changes to this forum since my last visit..
I come again to this board to ask you the following question: What could be the problem with my ps/2 controllers (keyboard and mouse) on my computer with windows xp sp 3 ? All started since I connected the hp 1400 printer to the usb slot of the computer. I had problems with the mouse and keyboard before, but anything was ok after a reboot/reset/restart of the pc.. Now, not even this works. The problem is very serious because I cannot even format the hard disk, I am preety sure it is a hardware problem, but why did the problem started after I only connected the printer?
If anyone knows something about this problem please help me out.
Thank you

very nice to see you again
it's very strange that usb can cause such malfunctioning, but, usb is bridge and probably there's something wrong with bridge.
have you tried safe mode? maybe it's just about driver?
i would say that it's more likely that ps/2 is reason of your problems instead of usb, but again, i can be wrong.
however, i've never seen similar problem in my entire life (or at least nobody said it was because of printer)
have you tried to search google? maybe there's more people with same issue?

Hi wook, thanks for your answer
The thing is i cannot go in safe mode because that requires me to press f8 and the keyboard doesn t work.... I'll try a google search
