I need some help guys. I wanted extract the images from a mbm-file with the mbm-wizard. But I always get that error message:
Does anyone know what to do. Or is there another program which can extract the images from the mbm file?
EDIT: Problem fixed.
But now I have another question. In the tutorial it says "Hit open and select any theme with cool icons that u like…" Well, I guess that means that the icons are all in that mbm file, but now I have tried it with around 6-7 themes, but after extracting the mbm-file there are no icons (only wallpaper/background image) or either only different versions of 1-2 icons.
You see, I'm totally new with creating themes.

No one able to help?
Well, you see, I'm really trying to get into this, but then this whole topic (theme creating) is a huge thing. As far as I know now my above problem is that the new 3rd edition themes out of which I wanted to extract the icons are not in the mbm-file, right? That's why I can open another 100 themes and I won't get to the nice icons.
So the tutorial on the first page is not useful with carbide 3.1., or did I mix something up now?
err, ok, before I posted this I tried mbm_eizard with an older theme and now I managed to get the icons.
But again, I can't use these icons with carbide 3.1. to make a theme for the N95, can I?
You see I'm pretty confused right now. I really hope someone can give me the little hints I need, I hope I only need little hints.

Only if bmp/ png/ jpg files are used in the theme they could be extracted. But if you find the icons as bmp and you need also the masks which are shown in the mbm file.
Think it's easier to use new icons, maybe from some posted Icon packs as to make this work.

I just want to tweak a theme or 3 that are really good, but need a little more contrast for my old eyes, or substitute some icons. I've been hunting all over the place and I can't find much info on how to edit an existing packaged theme? I cat get the mbm, mif, and skn files from the sis, but beyond that I can't see how to import these into Carbide UI or find a alternative to let me edit them.
Any suggestions or pointers?
