Yep taxes in Ontario. +13%.
Blackberries are suppose to be for enterprise but yea its turning out the young are getting them here. That new bigger screen touch/slider qwerty Torch will be out on Rogers Sep 24.
I can't remember what/how many 3g bands is on the N86. Rogers/Fido for sure will works at least as a 2g gsm unit. Bell/Telus you need 3g on 1900/850.
Can't get an unlocked Galaxy S officially in Canada. Some stores that sell imported phones do but the price for sure is higher than 500. I usually just import my phones from expansys/clove uk.

Dude ,I was going through Fido , 35 per month , UNLIMITED TEXT , unlimited calls after 7pm to 7am , 350 minutes.. :O
How come its so cheap as compared to Rogers ?:S even though the owner is same. and listen , the unlimited text and minutes and everything , they have small numbers above them ... what does that indicate ?

Fido have always been cheaper even before the buy out. Rogers keeps them around as a discount carrier and a separate branding for more market share.
Because they don't carry expensive phones, they don't need to price plans much higher to help subsidize them when sold at a low price with service contract.
Do you mean the little number like '1' next to Minutes? Basically fine print. Just click on Terms & Conditions at the bottom to get an expanded page of what each number means.

hey guys
yeh well ive decided to stay with my 5800 and I guess thats probably what ill use in Canada on Fido. Best thing to do ATM, Might go for an n86 later on from Canada. But for now , I guess staying with the same phone is the best choice instead of getting trapped for 3 years.
Thanks guys for your support
especially topline
