Yep, the new one does compare better, since it has the same 45nm technology, and the better GPU.

Quick vid to show off HID profile support in 2.2 firmware builds, really enjoying it with TV Out, like having another laptop in the house (one with a 42inch screen mind). Need to sort out some remote desktop action, should be sweet with this setup!

...and here is another showing the Zeemote in action:

Just get LauncherPro Plus on your Galaxy S, you'll hardly miss Sense at all!

I'm considering it yeah, I can't afford one with a 7month old baby at home and an impending drop in income as I start general practitioner training (will be able to afford one in a couple of months, not bad really since by then the price will have dropped a bit, and I will see whether Nokia lives up to promises about new browsers and so forth, of course by then I may just decide to hold out for the dual-core handsets coming out around March next year...).

I've been OS agnostic for some time now, I'll go to whichever OS has the phone that best fits my needs overall.

ok done. got my galaxy. its true sense ui is better than touchwiz. but galaxy has something better. i never see such amazing screen before. and set is so fast. plus it has wolfsen audio chip same as iphone. so sound quality is awesome. and battery life is much better than desire. i like the live wallpaper. so far, it is awesome set. and yesterday i saw an article at gsmarena that galaxy s is first wifi direct set, by which u do not need any wifi router or access point to transfer data between two wifi devices. it may be end of bluetooth lol. who knows.............
