My N900 Trial from WomWorld - Day 1 - First Thoughts
Let us help you decide your next Phone!

Ok, first thoughts on this beast of a device from nokia, and I know I'm going to rattle some cages here.
Well it wasn't a good start, it took two updates to get the phone to recognise my sim, which was a bit of an annoyance. but once I got up and running I was at first honestly impressed, the interface was totally different from anything I've seen before, its clean, smooth and very sexy looking. the build of the device feels reasonably solid, although in my opinion it feels a little, umm, bulky and awkward to handle and the keypad feels to spread out, I guess thats because I've gotten so used to the compact keypad of the e71.
I've mostly used the phone for browsing and a few emails so far, the browsing part has been a bit awkward since the stylus was missing, which womworld are rectifying for me, so I will give an opinion on that later. The email client thats built in is very nice and well laid out, but its not as advanced as the symbian version, ie it doesnt collect emails automaticly.
There are a few things I'm missing that I found useful on symbian, such as a data counter and call log, if its there then I cant find it.
Anyway, these are a.. just first thought. I'll post more as the trial goes on.
Feel free to ask anything you want, I'll do my best to answer them.

They haven't any more N900 for test. They offers me N97, N86 or N79 but I am not interested. Well, maybe I will buy a N900 anyway.
