Hello, I love Quake I & II, there are most impressive with openGL! Thanks a lot.

I have questions for you:
-How long it is needed you to transform a game pc into symbian game?
-Have you an idea as your next game?
-Think you go on in FPS or change?
-The opinion of the players thinks you third ask to know what games they would like?
-Why not to form a baby equipe to transform max of hit pc now that you have of the experience

Sorry for my bad english, I'm French

thanks for your hospitality! :o

I think that in us to give ideas of games in MR hinkka, while thinking of workability, but also potency of our mobile which they should not exceed.

Hinkka have immediately answering to my questions:

"Thanks, I'm in a little bit hurry so here you go: -How long it is needed you to transform a game pc into symbian game? Both Q1 and Q2 were running after a few days. Ofcourse optimizing and correcting bugs took a lot of longer.-Have you an idea as your next game? Not currently-Think you go on in FPS or change?I don't know. On the other hand there aren't so many good opensource games there.-The opinion of the players thinks you third ask to know what games they would like?If somebody has a good suggestion, why not if the game source code is available.-Why not to form a baby equipe to transform max of hit pc now that you have of the experienceThis would be rather nice, however as I said earlier most of the games are closed source commercial products."

Hiya, does anyone know the actuall ammount of free RAM required to run Q2 with OpenGL rendering? The ports are wonderful but my GLQuake looks better then Quake 2 as it is now, wich undoubtly annoys the crap out of me :P

it will only be possible to make it work if you optimize the pak files, ie you compress the textures and tweak the game engine (not anyone's job) to require less RAM, but not only do you make the game work on the N95-1 by doing this, you also increase the overall performance (framerate, etc.). I think if Quake III is to be ported to S60 there's no other way of doing it other than messing around with the game engine and whatnot.

It's awesome that we can run Quake 2 on the Symbian S60 3rd but I have a different question: is there any option to run Heretic 2 based on this port because Heretic 2 is made on the same engine as Quake 2?
