so what was the point of downloading the quake 2 source code? it doesnt say where to place that

thanks for the reply, could somebody please explain what exactly you copy from the baseq2 file because when i click on quake 2 to play it on my 8gb, nothing happens. i put it on my mass memory too and have played the first opengL quake so i am not quite sure why this on isnt working, thanks

nvm got it working, i had to rename the installed quake 2 icon exactly the same as the quake 2 folder in my root memory

i was on this game for years.. was very good at it too, i used to run server with great mods on, hook and things like this.. just great game
