Its called multiboot-kernel-maemo i believe.
Make sure you install it and add a .item-file for it that contains the correct kernel, you cant access RootFS without starting Maemo.

that sounds a bit critical.... can this multi-boot-kernel overclock n900??

and where am i gonna get that?

Where you get Multiboot in the repos, you get the kernels.
Search for multiboot, and you'll get all things related to it.
If you want the overclocked kernel, there is one for it right there as well.
And to be critical is important. This isnt completely straight-forward, you have to be sure about that you have done it correctly.
If things go as they should, you'll be okay. Its just that you need to know the risks about doing it. (I knew the risks but didnt take it all seriously.)
Because, if you have flashed to the NITDroid kernel and the default gets broken, you're pretty much stuck.
To install the kernel for Maemo makes you safe.

Ah, the good ol' manual way. (I loved those days...)
Well, first of all you need a running copy of Ubuntu, you can download a LiveCD and boot it. From there you install GParted and partition the memory card.
If you want further instructions, scream it out loud, fella. (I know the stuff about Ubuntu, its my main OS now.)

The automatic one is quite easy to use, but it takes a lil' time to download, else its quite good.
All you need to do is install it, run it, agree once, and youre pretty much set.
However, before even thinking of starting it, make sure you have multiboot-kernel-maemo installed along with a working .item for it. Usually this is okay as you install multiboot along with the installer, which automatically installs it. But checking it does not hurt you and is not useless. (.item-files are usually ok as long the kernel is installed.)

Can you explain in more detail as how it cant access the OS? Android you mean?
Does it show up? It shows up as NITDroid or similar. There should also be a choice for Maemo there.
As for Power Kernel, you need to have multiboot-kernel-power installed in order to boot into it with Multiboot.
You give too little detail, i need details in order to help you out.
What has happened? What have you done so far? Give in-depth details.
And remember: this isnt a sandbox, what happens might be fatal and might not be possible to recover. I've got all my files in MyDocs deleted twice, once by accident, once by this installer/Android. (Both were in the bottom caused by Android...)
And as i see it, you might need to learn a little bit about using Linux and Xterm.
