there is no rename feature for music and applications folders on my n97, and thats what this thread is about n97, these mods may work on your phone but i cant guarantee it, also the rename menu items mod needs c2z on autostart, ive also got c2z4bin and domainsrv running, you could try applying those too but there probs not needed for this, and make sure you have put the edited file in the correct folder, the one it was taken from but on c/

yes when i turn c2z the music and apps folder change its name but it's not what i want, i want to change the apps itself like messaging into sms or music player into whatever, i found the exact apps names on .xml but that's it. edited the .xml put it on the same folder on C but nothing change.

Hi guys,
some questions, I was looking to N97 SPLASHSCREENS mod.

There's written:

"put F_sys_bin_domainsrv.exe in f/sys/bin and rename it 'domainsrv.exe'
then reboot phone"

I don't have a memory card, do I have to copy this file on E:? Can I?

Also, I'm lost at:

"put c2z4bin_THUMB.rmp in e/patches and apply it with autostart"

What does "apply with autostart" mean? Can someone explain it to me?

Thanks, nice guides.

joltan the file needs to go on memory card cos if it causes a reboot over and over again you can stop it by removing the memory card, if you put the file on e/ mass memory and experience these problems you will have to hard reset phone to rescue it, the mod does work using e/ but its at your own risk
