If you unpack sis file to c: drive, no need hash. You can run apps normally.
If unpack the sis to memory card, a hash file in c:\sys\hash is needed. The installer would create it automatically. If you edit the app's exe file at memory card, the app won't no longer work because wrong hash file. This patch removes the restriction.

Thanks for the patch by the way...

So the updated version lets us to execute exes and others from memory card even without fake hash in sys\hash?
CODeRUS, why there is many patches specially for n96? Is it because of cpu?

Code: Select all
; ** Patch: RemoveHashCheck ***
; by CODeRUS
; in 0x7DB
; patch removes hash checking for removable binaries, you can modify e:\sys\bin files without re-calculating of hash file in c:\sys\hash. i hope it can help for lazy modders =)
#IFDEF MACHINE_20002D82
   ; N96
   snr:sys\bin\efile.exe:F74F2DE913DD4DE2:1EFF2FE113DD4DE2
#ELSE
   snr:sys\bin\efile.exe:2061??E70320:2061??E70520
#ENDIF
Is it correct?

Thanks anyway :)
