Hurrey Downgrading N8 with Phoenix is Now Possible !! I Personally Tested This and Confirmed Working(regards Ijasmedia555)

Hello Guys I downgraded My N8 From Leaked Anna Firmware to PR 1.2 Fw Version 014.02 Successfully...

Here are Few Tips...

Tip 1:One and Only N8 Firmware with downgrade support is Scandinavia DG 0598984 test firmware v11.5

Tip 2:U can simply Downgrade ur Firmware to Scandinavia dg ver 11.5 From any Highet FW.

Tip 3:To Download Scandinavia dg ver 11.5 firmware,You have to use Navifirm.
Navifirm -> Quality Assurance -> N8 -> 0598984: SCANDINAVIA DG

Note:The Quality Assurance server seems to be down atm.if u have trouble downloading firmware from Quality Assurance Server pls download from the link
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3INI9UTL or http://www.mediafire.com/?vr8wdkkucfh4tr6

Ok Lets Start

1st: Install Phoenix and download the firmware, for example: SCANDINAVIA DG version 11.5

2nd:Copy the Downloaded Firmware Files to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-596

3rd: So you have the hacked 22 cfw and want back the older 11.5 Fw

4rd: Start Phoenix

5th:On connections choose NO CONNECTION

Image

now go to File and choose OPEN PRODUCT
choose your product example RM-596

Image

go to FLASH and FIRMWARE UPDATE

click on the 3 dots and choose the firmware you've downloaded

Image

check the DEAD PHONE USB FLASHING

5th:Refurbish

Proof Video:

Note::After u Successfully Downgraded ur Firmware To SCANDINAVIA DG version 11.5,u can Upgrade to Any Higher Versions like PR 1.2 or Even Anna Leaked

Note::After Downgrade,if u want to Upgrade to Higher Version,Download FW Same as ur Product Code Only...

HAHA bro u dont really need to do...but u must knw the possibility of Downgrading...

Downgrade procedure is simpler as cooking bean soup, only at first glance looks complicated and scary

I personally tested this on my device with success..anyone can try....

do not tell me about downgrade please :D i have flashed hundreds of phones till now and downgraded even N95 from (that time) unhackable fw31 to fw30 even if everyone killed their phones by doing that :D

good tip that it can be possible. but what usage? i really can not see. if you need any soft with other product code, you simply flash it. was there any need from your side to do that? :)

Some Firmware's are stable some are not...If u updated to a higher version and u need to go back to a particular version is not possible b4 this method. Now u can test any firmware and if u dont like it u can downgrade to earlier one which is stable for u is now possible..

yop yop... universal bootloader ;)
cause this is mostly the issues of killed phones. bootloader is thing that can not be dongraded if some security fields are changed.
