i had same error yesterday when i renamed rm-626 and opened that product....but on xp

so that's why i was asking on win version
if he has XP, i'll have another possible errors
(related to file naming - seems like bug of cracked phoenix)

in vista and after vista, if app not runned in admin privileges, it don't have access to: !:\program files\; !:\windows\; !:\programdata..... So, it is error that is caused only if application can't find files for specified product.

not a pro at this flashing thingy. Only started doing it last month. But i think you are right on "bug of beep phoenix".
after 2 bricked and countless error, i use jaf for flashing now.
