Actually I have pretty good reason for that, you see, I did it once before and got some complains because it isn?t that easy to process this script. This is the pretty complex script that trying to emulate snow on the pretty realistic way and therefore it looks soo good but cause lot of problems if you attempt to run it on the few pages simultaneouslyRockerZ wrote:Yeh i was wondering the same thing , the snow shuld be everywhere
Anyway, lets go back to the point, it isn?t a problem if you are running the script on one single page but if you like tabbed browsing and usually have opened lot of topics whole system will slow down and finally result with browser crashing and therefore I have decide to implement it just on the forum and site index page. Sure I have some cool scripts that will be added on the rest of the forum just on time.
The 2nd problem is our milk orange background
believe me that it is really hard to get the good snow effect over this color, because of that I had to change the snowflakes size and color and therefore it doesn?t looks as it should or at least as I would like That?s it

hmm...
just opened the index page with the snow falling, and then opened it in about 30 tabs too, and firefox used only 16% of CPU... so i think that the problem is only on old systems and on mobiles..

Indeed, it is mostly related to older machines and unfortunately it is impossible to open index from the mobile phone. Actually it is possible but it is necessary to stop the loading page before script activation
Don?t know what to do really

yes, the point is, not everyone has the powerfull systems like we do, and will cause there browser to crash and burn every time.. so i think its best for just the index page
this way, everyone is happy
