Carl Zeiss Lens on the Nokia N-Series Phones

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this type of question! But because Nokia decided to joine forces with Carl Zeiss to improve their phone cameras, i'll take my shot:

What is the difference betwen a "Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar" and "Carl Zeis Vario-Sonar" lens ?

Vario-Tessar vs. Vario-Sonnar ? which one is better?
It is not a matter of one being better. They are just different.
Vario-Tessar makes for smaller lenses (because of smaller zoom ratios and lower speed, like f/3.5). Vario-Sonnar is bigger and enables higher zoom ratios -like 6x, 12x and
beyond- at higher speeds - like f/2.0.
Resulting image quality of either zoom lens version is on the same high Carl Zeiss level.
