If you use dial-up, you have range of IP's that you are assigned on each and every connection.

yes this is true, but im on broadband and i still have new ip adress asigned to me every 3 - 5 days, which is a nightmare for playing xbox live as i have to redo settings all the time, my ISP wants extra ?10 per month for static IP id rather just do the settings

no you have it wrong nt_virus apoc banned this user because he is a spammer and registered 3 names under same ip adress purely for spaming the forum, and we do not tollerate spamming in anyway or form, if you spam, we ban :yeah:

@ apoc ,, it means an innocent member may use 2 ids here (not any intension of using two nicks i m happy with my one nick lol ) , and ip of a same city is same i think ,, then what happen if other user using same ip, network, handset .

nt_virus it will never happen bro. you really dont have to worry, there are various other methods involved in telling a spammer from inocent user.. apoc is very carefull and would Never ever ban innocent member..
