Well the truth is, when ipad first announced youtube front page was filled with the introduction video and everything related. Now, it's hard to see it anymore. It looks like a big bubble that finally blew... N900 on the other hand, (and any device that 'll come after) will stay and "grow". Now, i don't know about "pads", but ipad took the same root like the rest stuff started with -"i" did... Too much smoke, but you can barely see the fire...

I don't agree with Phill. I just give you the example og iPhone as you can see it starts with i and when its announcment has been made people refused to accept it and said it will be complete fail product. But we all know about the success of iPhone. And same thing I consider with iPad. I think iPad will be one of the most popular and most widely used technology. And there will be fire which you are looking for.

iphone did become popular, that's true, but not among advanced end users, just ordinary people. Most of them, including some people i know, they buy it because they've heard its name. And that's all.
Now as for the i-pad, i wouldn't trade it even with my nokia 5800!
And why should i?
It doesn't provide full web experience, it measures like a portable computer, but have nothing to do with one, it is gsm enabled, but obviously it's not a phone, well, at least a portable one, and it have a touchscreen.... Well, maybe i could do something with that since my laptop doesn't have one.... But, what...?
