if you still encounter some errors and used all the methods provided by nokia7vista and seems to loose hope hacking your phone. I've got a lil tip for you...

try to use other usb cables like the one i did. after more then 24 hours of exhausting ways to figure out what iv missed, iv managed to install custom firmware 40!!!!

always ask a friend for help! they may have a nice workin cable for you.
