Apocalypso, i don't think they are build on the same core, it's just that google is really trying to go open source all the way, and in my opinion, that's the way it should be.
edit: apoc, i just read another blog post, and it seems it's based on the webkit rendering engine, the same that is used in safari browser and their android platform.

just noticed something, the tabs are in alphabetical order from left to right. and all that time i was wondering where did the tab go. lol.
edit: never mind, i don't know the chances of this, but i had 7 seperate tabs from a to z, but it seems like a coincidence. each new tab comes next to the one you're in.

It seems that Chrome still has some bugs in it.
Bug 1: Chrome is still vulnarable to a so called carpet bomb. It is a leak that also occured in Safari but Apple fixed that. Because Chrome is based on an older version of Webkit, the leak is still there. The carpetbomb last webpages download software to vulnarable pc's into their desktop.
Bug 2: The whole browser can crash and stops working if you let your mousecursor pass a link, not even clicking it. This bug is a strange one because Chrome is build and mend to bypass these crashes. It does so by letting each page load and execute in an isolated part of the pc's memory so that if a crash occurs it only happens to that one and only page and the rest of the browser keeps on working as it should.
grtz Maverick ?

How do I change the default language on the Google Chrome search engine? When I search something using Google Chrome, it brings up the search results using the Italian page. Yes, I live in Italy, but I don't understand a lick of Italian! So, I would like to change the default site, does anyone know how?

I have used Google Chrome and its very fast and easy to use. Its wonderful. It offers a unique approach to Web browsing with tabbed navigation and the speed dial homepage, which is dynamic. I really enjoy the google chrome application. Its way better than IE7 and it seems to be more stable.
