You can always synchronize your contacts and messages and then transfer it on to N900. N97 is by no means any match for N900

According to me Nokia N97 is best phone compared N900. Nokia N97 Symbian smartphone. N97 provide nice Features which are here 3G, TFT resistive touchscreen, 5 MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and support 32 GB memory.
