You'll be shown a "Boot Menu", and choose Maemo or Nitdroid.

I've been using it for 3/4 days, and it's funny enough to test...

as long as you dont muck up the install process it will have no effect on the rest of your maemo install

I tried this. Use arrow keys to steer, spacebar for changing view and D for nitrous. Accelerometer doesn't work.

@laughingman, please have in mind that installing "NITDroid" on the N900 is a (somewhat) easy task, but it can go wrong, so a backup is advised allways.

If you need any help with it, send me a tweet and i'll try to help you. (not that i am a pro on this matter :D )

I tell you, the most important thing is to install a kernel for Maemo that is compatible with Multiboot. I didnt, and it bricked mine. :( (Now i dont have a calendar... All i have is on Ovi, but i cant sync it.)
Its called multiboot-kernel-maemo i believe.
Make sure you install it and add a .item-file for it that contains the correct kernel, you cant access RootFS without starting Maemo.
No ideas for signature again :)
