hi guys i have been studying about nitdroid on n900 it seems pretty easy. any way i have a very noobe qus about this..... after doing all the procedure when i will restart my phone, will i get the opportunity to choose which OS is going to boot??.... have any one tried this??

You'll be shown a "Boot Menu", and choose Maemo or Nitdroid.
I've been using it for 3/4 days, and it's funny enough to test...

as long as you dont muck up the install process it will have no effect on the rest of your maemo install

I tried this. Use arrow keys to steer, spacebar for changing view and D for nitrous. Accelerometer doesn't work.

@laughingman, please have in mind that installing "NITDroid" on the N900 is a (somewhat) easy task, but it can go wrong, so a backup is advised allways.

I tell you, the most important thing is to install a kernel for Maemo that is compatible with Multiboot. I didnt, and it bricked mine.
(Now i dont have a calendar... All i have is on Ovi, but i cant sync it.)
Its called multiboot-kernel-maemo i believe.
Make sure you install it and add a .item-file for it that contains the correct kernel, you cant access RootFS without starting Maemo.

that sounds a bit critical.... can this multi-boot-kernel overclock n900??
and where am i gonna get that?
