how to OpenSSH with usb cable n900

Easy: http://wiki.maemo.org/N900_USB_networking

Essentially you just plug in the usb lead, select PC Suite Mode, open an xterm (gainroot) and do ifup usb0

You might want to check /etc/network/interfaces to make sure you have details for the usb0 interface.
