According to documents on FFC site it seams that Nokia is preparing to release the audio accessory of the year. AD-42W gateway allows you to connect a standard home stereo system to a compatible music player or headset that supports Bluetooth wireless technology.
The gateway is compliant with Bluetooth Specification 2.0 supporting the following profiles: Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) 1.0, and Generic Audio/Video Distribution Profile (GAVDP) 1.0.
Device looks quite simple, if you look careful at attached images you should see that gateway contains two buttons, I guess it’s a pairing/synchronization key along with operating mode selector, there is also indicator light in standard blue BT color. Adapter is equipped with two pairs of RCA connectors, audio inputs on the gateway and the audio outputs for the stereo audio system (the red connector is for the left stereo channel and the white connector for the right channel, same as with any other audio device) and after all there is a power connector.
Basically this means that AD-42W allow owners to plug it into their stereo and play favorite music remotely using Bluetooth technology through a home stereo system. Considering that Nokia N91 is fully compatible with A2DP technology we can expect that device will be released very soon.
