Nokia E65?! Rumours or more!?
Another addition to E family???!

As you may already noticed we've got lot of upcoming phone rumors lately, and here is the another one.

You see, few hours ago I’ve got interesting PM with information about new Nokia phones located on one German forum, nokiaport.de exactly and as don’t understand German very well I made some additional research and finally found that story was initially started on the MobileMania.sk site.

As I’m familiar with the Slovakian language I’m able to give you a little bit more information about.

Its more than obviously that phone features slider form factor but it doesn’t looks like the Nokia N80 and it definitely isn’t based on the same form factor. Actually, at first sight it definitely looks like the very well known and very successful line of Nokia S40 (dummy) phones based on Nokia 6280.

Speaking of the design phone is made from the pretty strange combination of materials, metal, plastic, rubber, leather and it seams that we only miss some wood parts on this device. With dimensions of 106 × 47 × 14 mm in closed state and width of 137 mm opened phone seams pretty compact, it’s a little bit longer than Nokia N95 but at the same time N95 is wider and thicker.

Furthermore it contains impressive 2.0 MPixel camera without better lens but with autofocus. Also it features WLAN, great TFT high resolution screen of 352 × 416 like on N80, 70 MB of internal storage memory expandable over the microSD cards up to 2GB. Connectivity features also looks impressive although it lacks HSDPA and miniUSB. IrDA, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR support, uPnP, infrared, UMTS, GPRS and EDGE, SIP support, all that powered with pretty bad BL-5F Battery.

The Nokia E65 is supposed to be another addition mid-range smartphone portfolio after just announced Nokia 6290, Nokia E65 is a modern smartphone with a classic sliding but not so ergonomic design at an accessible price point. The last but not the least Nokia E65 is expected to begin shipping in Q2/Q3 2007 with an estimated retail price of 340 euros before subsidies or taxes.

I guess that Nokia E65 will be officialy released at the CES electronics show next week.

Oh, and speaking of CES - It’s a massive consumer electronics show in Las Vegas and as the Nokia’s official community partner, we are formally invited as the guests at the CES next year and we’ll be there this year definitely, from Sunday, Jan. 8th till the Jan.10th.

Undoubtedly it should be a great event and we’ll be able to get up close and personal with some new Nseries devices, spend some time with the Nseries product manager and last but not less important we’ll be at the launch party on 8th where Nokia and other mobile manufacturers are expected to make some big announcements, we are expecting that Nokia will release a some brand new Nseries handset.
