Interesting Nokia Slider Concept?!?

Pretty busy days for folks over the Nokia research labs, we wrote that Nokia has been experimenting with plastic casings coated with a diamond-like material made from coal and Nokia attempt to patent this technology.

Also we've had some forum discussions related to slider Nokia phone with QWERTY keyboard and large screen but it was obviously just a nice Photoshop work with some really bizarre solution and or even terrifying ideas in my personal opinion.

As usually, patenting generally makes the details of new technology publicly available and according to a new patent filing, Nokia is indeed working on some kind of the slider phone with QWERTY keyboard.

The patented concept shown on the sketches looks quite innovative and very interesting. Phone features innovative multifunctional metamorphosing form factor, widescreen display, with QWERTY keyboard and standard numeric part that can change orientation based on the phone mode.
