pyPoziomica for 3rd ed
Use Your Phone As Level Too

Yesterday I wrote about Python based Ball Game that intensively uses accelerometer technology and today I have something even cooler, an application that is based on the same concept, combination of the Python and Accelerometer Toolkit.

pyPoziomica (What a cool name rolf) is a new application compatible with Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB but is should works with Nokia N93i and Nokia N82 as well that allows to use your telephone as a level tool.

Nothing especially to say about, its enough to put phone on some plain, flat surface and press OK to calibrate it and application is ready to use.

Sure application is far away from the sophistic Laser Level tools, but again, we are open to new features and this just another cool addition in you application folder that will if nothing else impress your friends :]

On more thing, same as all other Python based application it requires Python 1.4.1 for proper work.

Just dropping in briefly to inform you that the very cool and pretty popular accelerometer based application for the Nokia N95 has been updated to its final version.

Functionality of the latest pyPoziomica version remains the same but there are more than welcome improvements in the visual interface. UI is now completely translated to English and there is a skin support, background image changing to be precise, Scale is also improved and now it is possible hide it, change its color and maybe even the most importantly scale is more precise and numbered from -45,-30,-15 to +15,+30,+45.

There is an also a good news for all N82 owners because the v2 version is fully compatible with the Nokia N82 and probably with Nokia N93i as well.
