Change your phone identity!!
S60 browser goes iPhone!
If you've been here for long enough then you're well aware of my opinion abut the iPhone, it was already discussed numerous times and I am not interesting in opening the same discussion again.
The iPhone brings nothing new to the market, except multi touch of course; actually; if it brings anything new, it’s the look, and honestly, slim and sleek design has been seen before, and it will be done again, Prada is nice example and it going to be even better and better equipped phone with more features.
We all know that iPhone is nothing but the crap, but general public won't know that and most of them won't even realize that when they actually buy one. iPhone is nothing but the it’s a piece of hardware with nice screen over it and extremely good marketing behind.
However I’m not an ardently anti-Apple and the main point of this article is something completely different. As you may have already know, Nokia S60 browser is based on the same core with Ajax support just like the iPhone browser and it is expectable that both browsers interprets the pages on the same way but it is not the case. Mainly it happens because websites detects the phone model and change interface according to the device specification which results with completely different browsing experience on different devices. Following the huge popularity of the iPhone lot of web sites have created the special pages and pages designed for iPhone are easier to read and they are visually more pleasing.

Not lets got to the point, Harri Salminen from over at Forum Nokia Blogs has made a quick software hack and changes the Nokia N95 identity and forced browser to introduce itself as an iPhone's browser. Great little trick isn’t it!? So if you of those who want to try "iPhone on S60" there is an unsigned SIS-file for download over at his blog or right here.
